Obituary for Anita Fern Race (Beyersdoerfer)
Anita Fern Race (82) of Highland Heights formerly of Peach Grove, KY, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Carmel Manor in Ft. Thomas, KY. She was born in Foster, KY on December 22, 1939, daughter of the late Roy and Louise Hargett Beyersdoerfer.
In addition to her parents, Anita is preceded in death by her husband Everett “Ed” Race, brothers Nolan, Steve, Richard, and Donald Beyersdoerfer and sister Ruby McGeorge. Survivors include her daughter Sharon (Rich) Elliott, sons Kenneth (Sally) Race, Daron (Krystal) Race, Kevin (Loretta) Race, sister Linda Beyersdoerfer Miller, brothers Ted, Dennis, Allen, Jim, Ronnie and Robert Beyersdoerfer, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Anita was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1pm also at the funeral home. Anita’s final resting place will be in the Peach Grove Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
