Obituary for Bennett "BK" Baker
Bennett “BK” Baker (100) of Alexandria, KY passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the River Valley Nursing Home. He was born in Campbell County on May 18, 1922, son of the late Bennett and Lily Thornton Baker.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Alice Gosney Baker and siblings Samuel Baker, Blaine Baker, Leyman Baker, Bernice Prebble, Grace Line and Roberta Weckbach.
BK was a United States Navy WWII Veteran and a member of Grants Lick Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons Daryl (Barb) Baker, Larry (Margie) Baker and Keith Baker, daughter Deborah Price, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held form 12-3pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Grants Lick Baptist Church, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3pm, also at the church. BK’s final resting place will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Grants Lick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Grants Lick Baptist Church.
