Obituary for Brenda Kay Veirs (Roberts)
Brenda Kay Veirs (74) of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Hospice of Hope in Maysville. She was born in Butler, KY on April 24, 1947, daughter of the late George and Delcie Jackson Roberts. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by one brother Mike Roberts, sister Debby Veirs and brother in law J.K. Veirs.
Brenda was a member of Flour Creek Christian Church and serving as a deacon, she was also a member of Pendleton Co. Education Association (PCEA). She was a Registrar at Pendleton Co. High School and worked as an Administrative Assistant at Farmers National Bank in Walton. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Gary Veirs, daughter Tonya (Greg) Wolfe, son Doug (Rebecca) Veirs, brothers Joe (Janie) Roberts, Paul (Crystal) Roberts, David (Vickie) Roberts, sister in law Trena Roberts, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral Service will be at 2pm on Sunday April 3, 2022 also at the funeral home. Brenda’s final resting place will be at Peach Grove Cemetery.
