Obituary for Charles "Butch " Reeves
Charles “Butch” Reeves (73) of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born in Pendleton County on June 8, 1948, son of the late Arthur "Duddie" and Mary Elizabeth Cox Reeves.
Butch was a Falmouth and Butler Police Officer for many years, worked at the boat dock at Kincaid Lake State Park and also owned the Korn Store in Butler.
He is survived by longtime girlfriend Joy Mosley, sons Bill (Denise) Mosley and Frankie Vanlandingham, daughters Marie (Danny) Witham, Laurie (Patrick) Bass, Kari (Chris) Sloan, Regina Vanlandingham and Angel Miller, half-sister Judy Anderson and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Monday, February 14, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7pm, also at the funeral home. There will be a graveside service at 10am Tuesday, February 15 at the Butler Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shop with a Cop at 202 Chapel St, Falmouth, KY 41040. Online condolences can be made at peoplesfuneralhomes.com.
