Obituary for Coletta Ellison Williams
Coletta Ellison Williams (81) of Butler, KY passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Coletta was born in Maysville, KY on October 9, 1941, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Stitt Ellison.
Coletta was a devout member of the Falmouth Church of God and a retired nurse from River Valley Nursing Home. Widowed twice to Clarence Jones and Bill Williams, she never waivered in her faith and trust in God. Also preceding her in death were her brother, Fred Eliison & sister, Loyce Patrick.
Survivors include her children, Theresa Pheobus-Gress (Phil), Jan Pheobus-Stone (Jeff), Sarah Jones, Shelli Jones, Shayne Baxter (Elizabeth) and sisters, Eileen Caudill & Lana Henderson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Denise Bradley, Josh Welsh, Holly Welsh, Jeffrey Stone, Jared Stone, Brandt Gordley, and Lauren Breitbart. In addition, she is survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11-1pm, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY. Funeral services will follow immediately at
1pm, also at the funeral home with Rev. Christopher Williams, officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Stone (son in law), Jeffrey Stone (grandson), Jared Stone (grandson), Lauren Breitbart (granddaughter), Danny Smalley (nephew), Sergio Carranza (son in law), Connor DeFevers (grandson) and Denise Bradley (granddaughter). Honorary pallbearers will be Brandt Gordley (beloved grandson) and Eddie Cochran (good friend and neighbor). Coletta’s final resting place will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth, KY.
