Obituary for Cynthia A. Ward (Smith)
Cynthia A. Ward (76) of Falmouth, KY passed away Wednesday May 3, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was born in Brown County, OH on August 16, 1946, daughter of the late Roy and Nora Smith.
Cynthia was a member of the Blanket Creek Baptist Church, teachers aid at Southern elementary and Northern Kentucky Co-op. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Joyce Stull, Norella Smith, brothers William Smith, J.R. Smith, Hobert Smith and Jimmy Smith. She is survived by her husband Ed “Butch” Ward, sons Chris (the late Lorie) Ward, Ed (Bobbi) Ward, Rob (Amy) Ward, Jeff (Lisa) Ward, sisters Kathy McDowell, Faye Perkins, Lydia Bolia, brother Richard Smith and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 11am-1pm at the Peoples Funeral Home- Butler. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1pm also at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. In lieu in flowers donations can be made out to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 3rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
