Born February 11, 1975, at St. Elizabeth in Covington, Ky to Sandra Rogers and Donald Griffin Sr. He was raised in Warsaw, Ky and worked in concrete and some factories as well as Belterra casino. At the age of 25 he met Carrie Adams - Ritter and got married in 2000. They were blessed with 4 children: Selena - 2000, Victoria - 2002, Donald - 2005, John David - 2007. After 13 years they divorced then later Donald met Angela Griffin and were married on October 27, 2013.
Donald enjoyed playing video games like Mortal Combat. He loved watching Wrestle Mania in which he named his son John after John Cena and David Batista. His favorite food was bologna and peanut butter sandwiches and pancakes with ketchup. Donald passed away on May 6, 2023, where he resided at Gallatin County Nursing Home around 9:30 am. He is survived by his parents Sandy and Donald; 4 siblings: Tonya Anderson, Dorothy Cain, Harry Griffin, and Tom Griffin; 4 children: Selena Griffin, Vicki Robbins, Lil Donnie Griffin, John David Griffin; 2 grandchildren: Emily Nicole Griffin and Isabella Rose Focke. Aunts: Helen, Linda, Vivian, Reda Ping, uncle: Gary Griffin and Kelley; several cousins: Michael FLoyd, Tommy, and Timmy Ping are a few to mention.
Donald’s final resting place will be at Warsaw Cemetery. Graveside service will be held at the cemetery on May 10, 2023 at 11:00 am. Online condolences can be made at peoplesfuneralhome.com
