Obituary for Donald Mays
Donald Mays (78) of Falmouth, KY passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Ft. Thomas, KY. He was born in Madison, IN on March 15, 1945 son to the late Jess and Willena Susan Petty Mays. In addition to his parents Donnie is preceded in death by the recent passing of his wife Helen Sue Carr Mays, brothers Charlie and Bobbie Mays and one sister Phoebe Stahl.
Donnie is survived by daughter Tammy Moreland, grandchildren Emily (Dustin) Wanner and Palmer (Tori) Moreland, great grandson Weslee Wanner and his sister Emma Ship
Donnie was Baptist Minister, served as Pendleton County Sheriff and Pendleton County Judge Executer.
Visitation will be held at 4-6 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 6 pm, also at the funeral home officiated by Marvin Sullivan. Donnie’s final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth, KY. Memorials, if desired are suggested to Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office 202 Chapel Street, Falmouth, KY 41040.
