Obituary for Donald Austin "Donnie" Wright
Donald (Donnie) Austin Wright (72) of Falmouth, KY passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas. He was born in Cynthiana on May 9, 1949, son of the late Donald and Katherine Austin Wright. Donald is preceded in death by his brothers John E. Wright and Eddie Wright.
Along with his wife Paula Kyle Wright who he married May 30, 1967, Donnie is survived by his children Donald (Jill) Wright, Mike (Sheila) Wright, Jeremy (Lisa) Wright and Heather (Roger) Becht, brothers Steve (Tarja) Wright, Teddy (Cheri) Wright, sisters Patty (Bobby) Jenkins, Connie Ross, sister in laws Crystal Wright and Amy Brown Wright. Grandchildren Ethan (Emily) Wright, Nathan (Kate) Wright, Andrew Wright, Katie Wright, Adam and Austin Wright, Michaela (Cameron) McClanahan, Josh (Zoe) Wright, Alex (Rick) Jimenez, Jackson Jenkins, Brandon (Ashley) Love, Logan (Sierra) Love and Amber Love. Great grandchildren Cash, Carter, Savanah, Abigail, Luke, Kimberly and 3 new great grandchildren on he way.
Donnie was a member of Butler United Methodist Church; he was self-employed in concrete construction for over 20 years and farmed.
A visitation will be held from 10-12pm, Friday, February 18, 2022 at United Methodist Church in Butler. Funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm also at the church and officiated by Ron Schwarberg and Ethan Wright, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Donnie’s final resting place will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
