Obituary for Donna K. Honaker (Wyatt)
Donna Kay Wyatt Honaker (74) of Lexington, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at her home. She was born in Falmouth on March 9, 1948, daughter of the late Lindsey “Parker” and Ruby Colvin Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harry Keith Honaker Sr. and daughter Heather Lynn Honaker.
Donna was a registered nurse at UK Medical Center and involved with the UK College of Nursing, a homemaker, member of Antioch Mills Christian Church and Southland Christian Church.
She is survived by her children Maggie Ellen Honaker, Nicole Renee Honaker-Hwang, Lara Honaker (Brad) Moore, Harry Keith (Jackie) Honaker Jr. and Lindsey Evelyn Honaker, sister in laws Judith Honaker (Russell) Barclay and Toby (Jamesetta) Honaker. Nana to her grandchildren Caleb Freeman, Darrell Wilson, Portia Crumble, Jordan Bennett Nelson, Aleck Honaker, Gavin Honaker, Shannon Ackerman, Keith Thomas (Shannon Bowyer) Honaker, Trinity Honaker-Hwang, Brittany Moore, Bradley Moore Jr., Ruby Moore, Wyatt Moore and one Great Grandchild Oscar Thomas Honaker.
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Antioch Mills Christian Church under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:30pm also at the church. Private Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery with a reception at Antioch.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society c/o Donor Services P.O. Box 22324 New York, NY 10087.
