Obituary for Edna Marie Cummins (Spegal)
Edna Marie Cummins (76) of Crittenden, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. She was born in Grassy Creek, KY on September 4, 1945, daughter of the Ted and Mary Helen McKinley Spegal. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband K. G. Cummins and her sister Mary Louise Shelton.
Survivors include her brothers Ted Bradley Spegal, David Spegal and Wade Spegal.
Edna was a member of Carters Chapel United Methodist Church where she loved to play the piano. She had worked at Levi Strauss Company, was the owner of B & E Restaurant and Country Catering of Grant County.
Visitation will be held 11-2pm Saturday February 12, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm, also at the funeral home. Casual dress as Edna would have wished. Edna’s final resting place will be at Gardnersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sherman’s Tavern (historical restoration), C/O Amy Roe, 522 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097 or Gardnersville Cemetery.
