Obituary for Emma Herald (Damon)
Emma Herald (90) of Butler passed away on Saturday, September17, 2022 at her home. She was born in Morning View, KY on September 2, 1932, daughter to the late Paul and Minnie Borkers Damon. Emma was a member of Butler Baptist Church and a graduate of Simon Kenton High School.
In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by her 1st husband John Hammer and her 2nd husband Lee Herald, two son Lester Lee Herald, one grandchild Sherita Swofford, one sister and two brothers.
Survivors include her children Ronald Herald, Danny Herald, Sue Williams, Kathy Herald and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm Wednesday September 21, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday September 22, 2022 also at the funeral home. Emma’s final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.
