Evelyn M. Evans (73) of Butler, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home. Evelyn was born in Gardnersville, KY on May 22, 1949, daughter of the late Frank and Cora Hewitt Straub.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Claude “Buddy” Evans, daughters Kathy Powell, Lorie (Rodney) Pollard, Tammy (Michael) Bullock, Amy Evans, son Michael (Kim) Straub, sister Inez (Russell) Dewalt, grandchildren Jacob (Barb) Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Mesha Johnson, Cheyanne Johnson, Cory (Rina) Straub, Nathan Straub, Travis Pollard, Elizabeth Pollard, Brookelin Bullock, Breanna Bullock Teegarden and great grandchildren Lincoln Teegarden, Serenity Golden, Zira Tucker, Jayden Tucker, Izabell Tucker, Violet Johnson, Benjen Johnson, Evelyn Johnson, Elias Hernandez, step grandchildren Christopher Bullock and Tyler King. Evelyn was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral Service will follow Thursday at 1pm also at the funeral home. Evelyn’s final resting place will be in the Gardnersville Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the charity of ones choice.
