Obituary for Harold Whitaker Sr.
Harold Whitaker Sr. (87) of Butler, KY, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the River Valley Nursing Home. He was born in Kentucky on March 25, 1935, son of the late Vernon and Alma Margaret Fuller Whitaker.
Herald was a lifelong Campbell County farmer, along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Wilma Fagree and Norma Cobb.
Herald is survived by his wife Stella Straub Whitaker, son Herald (Sherry) Whitaker Jr., daughters Wilma West, Edna Lindsey and grandchildren Harold Whitaker III, Noble Gabbard and Margaret West.
Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the
Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm also at the funeral home. Herald’s final resting place will be in the Butler Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the charity of one’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.peoplesfuneralhomes.com
