Obituary for Helen Sue Mays (Carr)
Helen Sue Mays (80) of Falmouth, KY passed away Wednesday March 9, 2023 at her home. She was born in Bracken County on October 26,1942, daughter of the late Ed and Garnett Colvin Carr. In addition to her parents Helen is preceded in death by her brothers Bob, Billy, Norman and Clifford Carr and her sister Wanda Ferguson.
Helen is survived by her husband Don Mays, daughter Tammy Moreland, grandchildren Emily (Dustin) Wanner and Palmer (Tori) Moreland, great grandchild Weslee Wanner.
Helen worked for the Pendleton County Sheriff Office as a Secretory, she loved animals.
Visitation will be held from 1-2pm Sunday March 12, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, also at the funeral home. Helen’s final resting place will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth, KY. Memorials are suggested to Pendleton County Animal Shelter1314 Bryan Griffin Rd Butler, KY 41006.
