Obituary for Jean Lillie (Nagel)
Jean Lillie (71) of Grants Lick, KY passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2022 at her home. She was born in Dayton, KY on February 13, 1951 daughter to the late Ernest Alan and Rosalee Moore Nagel. In addition to her parents Jean is preceded in death by her husband Roger Lillie Sr.
Jean was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and retired after 30 years at the Campbell County Public Library. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Cumberland University and her Master’s Degree from the University of Kentucky.
Jean is survived by her children Roger Lillie Jr. and Karen Hubbard, brother Alan (Fran) Nagel, her sister Judith (Gary) Nelson, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11-1pm Tuesday August 2, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 1pm, also at the funeral home. Jean’s final resting place will be at Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church 11212 Lees Road, Alexandria, KY 41001.
