John “Johnny” Robert Jackson Sr. (69) of Demossville, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was born in Ft. Thomas on August 16, 1952 son to the late Elmer Jackson and Joyce McLaughlin McClanahan. In addition to his parents John is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Jean Teegarden Jackson who passed in 2020, his daughter Heather Jackson and two brothers Todd Jackson and Dale McClanahan.
John was a Vietnam Veteran in 70’-71 of the United States Army and was a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his sons John Jackson Jr., Steven (Dana) Jackson, brothers Mark Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Scott Jackson, Randy McClanahan, Bradley McClanahan, sister Ellen Ash, 5 grandchildren Lillian, Jerrett, Cherish, Bailey, Morgan and 5 great grandchildren.
Memorial service for John and Kathy Teegarden Jackson will be held from 4-6pm Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. A military service for John will start at 6pm, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300
