Joyce Ann Steele (78) of California, KY passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at the River Valley Nursing Home. Joyce was born in Morgan, KY on December 3, 1943, daughter of the late Tollie and Elizabeth Casey Hyatt.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Steele and brother Joe Hyatt. Survivors include her children Troy (Darlene) Steele, Todd (Ginger) Steele and Tonya (Mike) Hare grandkids Broderick and Brennan Beighle, Jared, Keith and Elizabeth Steele, Zach (Macie), Orion (Kayla), Zoya, Andreanna and Gracia Steele, great grandchildren Millie Elizabeth Steele and Ella Wynne and Jeremy Steele.
Joyce owned her own beauty shop in Falmouth, KY for many years and was a lifelong member of the Falmouth Christian Church. She was apart of the Pendleton County Homemakers, member of Eastern Star and spent her last years helping to take care of her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY. A second visitation from 10-11am Thursday, December 23 will be at the Falmouth Christian Church followed by the Funeral Service at 11am. Joyce’s final resting place will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
