Kenneth Ray Hensley 31 of Butler, KY passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Kenny is rejoicing in heaven after a fierce battle with cancer. He is a 2009 PCHS graduate. He attended EKU and NKU. He was active in high school sports. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved travel, hiking, fishing and snowboarding. He was an outdoorsman.

He leaves behind his mother Lesley Hensley, his father Jimmy Hensley, Grandmothers Mary Caldwell and Rosie Hensley, grandfather Rick Farmer, brother Jeremy (Ashley) Hensley, Bonus Mother Jenni McBride, Bonus brother Jordan (Amanda) Deardorff, bonus sister Nakia McBride, Kenny also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and best friend Chris Smith that will cherish his memory forever. Kenny was preceded in death by a sister Desirae Hensley, niece Jakyra Cundiff and Grandfather Kenneth Hensley.

Peoples Funeral Home in Butler will be serving the family. Visitation Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 11-1, funeral following, burial will be at Butler Cemetery. Gathering will take place at Trinity Baptist Church in Falmouth following the burial. The family is currently organizing a memorial Blood drive as Kenny received numerous units of blood and blood products during his battle with cancer.
