Obituary for Lorie Ann Ward (Hodge)
Lorie Ann Ward (54) of Butler, KY passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Lorie was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on December 18, 1967, daughter Sam (Betty) Hodge and Judy (the late Gary) Lovelace Hurst.
Lorie was a cashier at the Shell in Butler, KY and formally worked at the juvenile detention center in Campbell County, KY. In addition to her parents Lorie is survived by her husband Chris Ward, daughters Mary (Eric) Sebastian, Heather (the late Bill) Lawson, Skyler (Zach) Ward, Austin (Rebecca) Skeen, brother Sam (Ina) Hodge, sisters Angela Grubbs, Sara Thumberger, Shelia Justice, Lisa Florence, grandchildren Duayne Sebastian, Tony Sebastian, Will Lawson and one bean on the way, mother and father in law Butch (Cindy) Ward. Lorie is preceded in death by her sister Tina Slater.
Visitation will be held 1-3pm Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will immediately follow at 3pm also at the funeral home.
