Obituary for LR Faulkner Jr.
Lee Roy “LR” Faulkner Jr. (62) of Falmouth (Morgan) passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. He was born in Owen Co., Ky on May 18, 1959, son of Dorothy Jean Marksberry Faulkner and the late Lee Roy Faulkner Sr.
LR was a member of the Harvest Community Church. He most recently drove a bus for the Pendleton Co. School District and Chairman of the Pendleton Co. Water District. He was a former Safety Director at Hammer Strength. LR also enjoyed his time as a 911 dispatcher and lieutenant of the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department. He worked hard to provide for his family and care for others around him. He also enjoyed hunting and camping with family and friends. Most of all he loved being a daddy and grandpa.
In addition to his mother Dorothy, LR is survived by his wife of 44 years Glenna Darlene Mason Faulkner, sons Bradley Steven (Milea) Faulkner, Craig Thomas (Danielle) Faulkner, Tyler Lee (Marina) Faulkner, Jordan Glenn (Kennedy) Faulkner, brother Steven Eugene (Michelle) Faulkner, grandchildren Cash, Kate, Diggy, Easton, Addy, Emma, Evan and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11-2pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, also at the funeral home. LR’s final resting place will be at Morgan Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Harvest Community Church Building Fund.
