Obituary for Margie Enzweiler (Downey)
Margie Downey Enzweiler (88) of Butler, KY passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at River Valley Nursing Home in Butler. She was born in Danville, KY on March 14, 1934, daughter of the late Lillard and Hallie Doolin Downey. In addition to her parents Margie is preceded in death by her husband Clem Enzweiler and daughter Barbara Lindsey.
Margie attended Butler Methodist Church and had worked at Front Gate Nursing Home.
Margie is survived by her son Kenny Henson, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and 5 grand dogs.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm Thursday December 22, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 12pm, also at the funeral home. Private burial for Margie’s will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to River Valley Nursing Home Activities 305 Taylor Street, Butler, KY 41006.
