Marjorie Lee (nee Prince) Gallagher (84) of California, KY passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her home. She was born in Demossville, KY on March 14, 1937, daughter to the late Millard and Emma Longworth Prince. In addition to her parents Margorie is preceded in death by one son Lanny D. Gallagher (1977), two brothers Willard Prince and Ronnie Prince, sister Imogene Eshman, brothers in law Everett Casson and Paul Haubner.

Survivors include her husband Jack Gallagher, daughters Kimberly (Ron) Elrod, Amy (Betty) Gallagher, sisters Pam (Tom) Bowen, Carol (Don) Rogem and Wanda Casson. Grandchildren Timothy Jenkins and Eva Jenkins, great grandchildren Andrew, Ethan, Timothy Jr., Savannah and Jade.

Marjorie was a member of Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church and WMU Women’s Missionary Union.

Visitation will be held 4-8pm Wednesday March 2, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. A second visitation will be held 11-12pm Thursday March 3, 2022 at Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church. Funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm also at the church, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Marjorie’s final resting place will be at Peach Grove Cemetery.
