Obituary for Mavis Sebastian (Deaton)
Mavis Deaton Sebastian (91) of Foster, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her home. She was born in Jackson, KY on April 16, 1931, daughter of the late Goodloe and Delphia Combs Deaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Hiram Sebastian, sons Eddie and Charles “Chuck” Sebastian and grandson Billy Sizemore.
She was an avid crocheter.
Mavis is one out of 15 children, she is survived by her daughters Patty (Daryl) Florence, Geneva (William) Sizemore and Earlen (Joe) Ritter, 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral Service will follow at 10am, Wednesday, February 15, also at the funeral home. Mavis final resting place will be in the Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60693.
