Obituary for Okley Melvin Blevins
Okley Melvin Blevins (92) of Independence, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Villaspring of Erlanger. He was born in Spanishburg, WV on August 10, 1930 son to the late James and Viola Hatcher Blevins.
Okley was a member of the Orchard Terrace Church of God in Cold Spring and was a Supervisor at Auto Sun Products.
Survivors include his daughter Pam Rose, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, siblings Gaylord Blevins, Bobby Blevins, Ed Blevins, and Brenda Sizemore.
In addition to Okley’s parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Opal Jane Strunk Blevins, son Larry David Blevins, daughters Susan Elaine Lawson, Brenda Jean Teegarden and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held 1-4pm Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will be held at 11am Monday, September 19, 2022, at the Orchard Terrace Church of God, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
