Obituary for Ray Earl Martin
Ray Earl Martin (75) of Falmouth passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was born in Dayton, KY on February 13, 1947.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, member of Newport City Church of God and former Alabama Volunteer Fireman. He loved his family and friends and loved helping others.
Survivors include his wife Barbara George Martin, step son Mitchell George, step daughter Shelly Slaven, brother & sister in laws Robert and Angela George. Grandchildren, Dylan George, Dalton George, Mitchell Slaven, Jordan Slaven and Charles Slaven, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held 9:30-11:30am Wednesday August 24, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 11:30am, also at the funeral home. Ray’s final resting place will be at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery North in Williamstown, under full military honors.
