Obituary for Ruby Gayle Lawson (Harrell)
Ruby Gayle Lawson (79) of Demossville passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She was born in Florence, SC on May 28, 1943, daughter to the late Maxie Bryant and Vivian Morris Harrell. In addition to her parents Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Charles Lawson, one son Bryant Lawson and daughter Gayle Yvonne Lawson.
Ruby was a bus monitor for Kenton County School Systems.
Survivors include her two sons Mike (Tracy) Lawson and Allen (Patty) Lawson, brother Gerald “Jerry” Harrell, sister Patricia Harrell, grandchildren Christy Williams, David (Heather) Lawson, Nicholas Lawson and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10-12pm Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will be 12pm, also at the funeral home. Ruby’s final resting place will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown. Memorial are suggested to a charity of one’s choice.
