Viola Rahe (98) of Ft. Thomas, (formerly of Alexandria) KY passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Carmel Manor in Ft. Thomas. She was born in Butler on August 15, 1923 daughter to the late Hugh and Hazel Belcher Vater.

In addition to her parents Viola is preceded in death by her husband Stanley T. Rahe, son Ralph Rahe, brothers Robert and Bryon Vater and sister Carrie Vater.


Survivors include her children Terry (Monica) Rahe and Carol Ann (Boyd) Gibson, daughter in law Zella Rahe, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10-11:30am Saturday May 21, 2022 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Graveside service will be held 12pm at Alexandria Cemetery, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
